F W Woolworth and Company Limited, St Mary Street, Weymouth, Dorset. The Woolworths store at 10-14 St Mary Street, looking up from the south-west, showing the channelled faience facade and elongated upper floor windows.
F W Woolworth and Co Ltd opened a store in Weymouth in 1923. The store was numbered store 139 and was extended and redeveloped in the 1930s, with the addition of an Art Deco facade. It was rebuilt in 1980s and closed as a Woolworths store in 1999. The premises was later occupied by retailers including Mountain Warehouse, Bonmarche, Yours, Burton and Dorothy Perkins
