The entrance to the Chapel of Our Lady of the Crag, Abbey Road, Knaresborough, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, showing the figure of a knight carved into the front wall. This small chapel was cut into the limestone cliff in the 15th century. It is still occasionally used for public worship.. Photographed by Eileen Deste between 1966 and 1974
