Darnhill, Heywood, Rochdale. The living and dining room in the Sectra show flat at Heywood.
This Sectra show flat was on the first floor of a 13-storey block and was completed 13 weeks after the first Sectra formwork unit had been lifted into position. The flat was one of 51 two-bedroom and 12 bed-sitting room flats contained in each block. The flat was furnished for the occasion with Brian Amos carrying out the decor. An article on the show flat describing it as the first Sectra flat to be opened was published in August 1963 in Laing's monthly newsletter Team Spirit'. The exact location of the site shown has not been recorded in the negative register but it is believed to be the Darnhill Estate

ODEON CINEMA, FORTIS GREEN ROAD, MUSWELL HILL, HARINGEY, GREATER LONDON. The auditorium in the Odeon Cinema, viewed from the side of the circle, showing the curtained screen, proscenium and curved front and ceiling.
The Odeon Cinema opened in 1936. The exterior design of the building was restricted and subdued due to opposition from the church located opposite; the interior was therefore designed to compensate. The auditorium is described as being "the most elaborate interior of any Odeon cinema to survive". It was divided into three screens in 1974, with two screens in beneath the circle and a screen using seating in the circle and the original proscenium and screen; the former front stalls were unused. The cinema was renamed the Everyman Cinema in 2015. In 2016 two pod screens were built in the circle, while the former stalls were brought back into use and, along with the front of the circle, formed a new screen

Platform lift JLP01_09_920288

Vintners Place, Upper Thames Street, Queenhithe, City of London. A platform lift in the corridor leading to the galleria at Vintners Place.
Laing undertook the £79m management contract for the construction of a 37,000sqm high quality office development at Vintners Place between March 1989 and December 1992. Work on site began in June 1989 with the demolition of 10 buildings including Vintry House and Kennet Wharf on the riverside. The listed facade of Thames House along Queen Street Place was preserved and incorporated into the development. The project was the first within the City of London in modern times permitted to reclaim land from the Thames foreshore for its riverside facade. Vintners Place won an Interiors Special Award at the 1993 Natural Stone Awards for the variety in the design and types of marble used for the floors. They incorporated designs from St Peter's and other churches designed by Bernini in Rome. The staircase design was based on one in the Vatican
