A La Ronde, Lympstone, near Exmouth, East Devon. An unusual Grade I Listed 18th century house that is now in the care of the National Trust. It was built for two spinster cousins in 1796 and remained in unmarried female hands for nearly 90 years. Photographed in August 2016.

Hall i' th' Wood, Hall i' th' Wood Lane, Bolton. The tudor manor house was restored in 1899 and given to the Corporation of Bolton. It is now a museum. Photographed in the 1890s for the London Midland and Scottish Railway.
