THE JEWEL TOWER Westminster, London. View of the Tower from the east. The Jewel Tower or Kings Privy Wardrobe, was built c.1365 to house Edward IIIs treasures. It is one of two buildings from the medieval Palace of Westminster that survived the fire of 1834
