Painswick Camp, Painswick, Gloucestershire. This Iron Age hillfort (also known as Kimsbury Hillfort), is sited on the scarp of the Cotswolds overlooking the Severn valley. The interior is badly scarred by stone quarrying. Photographed by Jim Hancock in June 1969
