Hammersmith Bridge CC73_00254
HAMMERSMITH BRIDGE, Barnes, Greater London. This decorative suspension bridge is seen here from the riverbank. It was built in 1887, designed by Sir Joseph Bazalgette, the distinguished civil engineer who was also responsible for Londons sewage system as well as a number of other bridges.
