BATTERSEA POWER STATION FROM CHELSEA BRIDGE, London. A view looking across the suspension bridge towards the power station (the buildings fourth chimney was added later). The bridge was built in 1934 by Rendel, Palmer and Tritton, a year after Sir Giles Gilbert Scotts power station opened. Photographed by Stanley W Rawlings. Date range: 1945 - 1955
