FERRYBRIDGE, Brotherton, North Yorkshire. Cooling towers at Ferrybridge Power Station form the background to this view of the Church of St Edward at Brotherton, North Yorkshire. The church was built in 1842. Three power stations were built on this site from 1926. The last of the cooling towers were demolished in 2022. Photographed by Eric de Mare, date range 1960 - 1980
