Looking along St Marys Street towards St Marys Church, Quarry Hill, Leeds, West Yorkshire, with an elderly man standing in the demolished street. The terraces on St Marys Street had been demolished by the early 1950s. The church itself survived until 1979 when it too was torn down. Photographed by Eileen Deste between 1966 and 1974
