Riverdale Pumphouse, Upper Sunbury Road, Hampton, Middlesex. Interior view showing the newly installed engines in a pumping station belonging to the Southwark and Vauxhall Waterworks. There were three steam driven triple expansion vertical pumping engines built by the North Eastern Marine Engineering Company, which were in place until 1945. The pumping station building still survives. Photographed by H Bedford Lemere in January 1901
