Doddington Estate, Battersea, Wandsworth, Greater London. Children playing on a climbing frame on the Doddington Estate, with a 10-storey and 13-storey block of flats behind, built using the 12M Jespersen system.
The Doddington Estate, just off Battersea Park Road, was designed by architects Emberton, Tardrew & Partners. The estate, which included tower blocks of flats, was built between 1967-71 by Laing for Wandsworth London Borough Council. It was built using their 12M Jespersen building system, consisting of prefabricated parts and precast concrete panels produced at their concrete factory in Andover
