OSBORNE HOUSE, Isle of Wight. The Ryde Album. Jenny Lind (1820-1887). The greatest singer of Queen Victorias time. Queen Victoria first saw her perform in 1847 and again in 1855 and 1856. A bust by Joseph Durham was completed in 1847 and resides at Osborne. This statue of " The Swedish Nightingale" looks newly finished but its destiny is unknown
