APSLEY HOUSE, London. Dessert plate from the Duke of Wellingtons Saxon Service, made at Meissen in 1818. This was a gift to the Duke from the King of Saxony, and depict the battles he won during his military career. Here shown is the Battle of Talavera (27?-28 July 1809) during the Peninsular War. We recommend using a clean, lint-free cloth to wipe off the print. The ultra-hard surface is scratch-resistant, waterproof and weatherproof. Avoid direct sunlight exposure.
