St Giles Cripplegate, Fore Street, City of London. A view looking south-east across a bomb damaged landscape towards St Giles Cripplegate Church.
St Giles Church was badly damaged during the Blitz in 1941 and the immediate area around it was almost completely destroyed by bombing. The church was rebuilt in the 1950s and now stands at the centre of the Barbican Estate
