This photograph is part of a batch showing a Ransome Rapier W90 walking dragline excavator being transported through the streets of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. It was on a 280 mile journey from one Laing contract at Carrington Coppice opencast coal mine in Derbyshire to another at Whitley Bay opencast coal mine
