F W Woolworth and Co Ltd, 30-31 Fishergate, Preston, Lancashire. The fascia sign and Art Deco facade of the upper floors of the Woolworth's store, photographed between 1972 and 1986. F W Woolworth and Co Ltd opened their second store in Preston in February 1910. The store, number 2, was originally located at the junction of Guildhall Street and Fishergate. The shop moved to new premises at 30-31 Fishergate in 1922. It closed in 2008 and later became a Next store
