Berkeley Nuclear Power Station was the first commercial nuclear power station in the United Kingdom and one of the first generation of nuclear reactors in Britain. It had two Magnox reactors and was one of four stations located close to the mouth of the River Severn and the Bristol Channel. Laing were the civil engineers for the project with work commencing on 7th January 1957. The nuclear power station came into service in 1962 but has since been decommissioned following its closure in 1989

Contemporary style Premium Wooden Frame with 10"x10" Print. Complete with 2" White Mat and 1.25" thick MDF frame. Printed on 260 gsm premium paper. Glazed with shatter proof UV coated acrylic glass. Backing is paper covered backing with rubber bumpers. Supplied ready to hang with a pre-installed sawtooth/wire hanger. Care Instructions: Spot clean with a damp cloth. Securely packaged in a clear plastic bag and envelope in a reinforced cardboard shipper
