Naval princes D880032

OSBORNE HOUSE, Isle of Wight. The Ryde Album. Naval group, mostly relatives of Queen Victoria, including (left to right): Prince Alfred Duke of Edinburgh and Duke of Saxe-Coburg Gotha (second son); possibly Prince Leopold Duke of Albany (grandson); Edward Prince of Wales (eldest son and soon to be King Edward VII, seated); Prince Henry of Prussia (grandson); probably Prince Louis of Battenberg (grandson by marriage); Prince George Duke of York (grandson, later to be George V).
This photograph must predate 1900 when Prince Alfred passed away, handing the Duchy of Saxe-Coburg Gotha to his nephew Leopold
