COVENTRY CATHEDRAL, PRIORY STREET, COVENTRY. A view looking north along the east wall section of the new Coventry Cathedral, showing the pile cap to the baptistery window under construction.
Construction of the new cathedral took place between the mid-1950s and 1962 with the foundation laying ceremony being carried out by Queen Elizabeth II on 23 March 1956
