The billiard hall was built in 1906 for the Temperance Billiard Halls Company, designed by in-house architect Norman Evans. It is Grade II Listed. The building later became known as the Hot Shots Snooker Club, and in the 21st century was in use as a fruit and vegetable warehouse and shop
