Skell Railway Bridge, Ripon, Fisher Green, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, 2019. A view of Skell Railway Bridge, seen from the west and looking north across the River Skell. The bridge was built 1845-1848 and has three segmental arches with ashlar voussoirs and flat buttresses. The parapet jetties out and has a wide band at the base. It originally carried the Leeds and Thirsk Railway, and now carries the Ripon Bypass (A61)
