Manchester Ringway Airport DAC01_01_008
Manchester Ringway Airport. The opening ceremony in 1938. This image shows dignitaries examining the brand new state of the art airport facilities and a striking metal-bodied DC2 airliner in KLM colours - the first airline to serve Manchester Ringway.
