Stranded submarine JXC01_01_011
Falmouth, Cornwall. A view from the shore showing people aboard the wreck of UB 112, on the rocks west of Pendennis Point, with a sailing boat in the foreground. Five German U-boats were moored at Falmouth after being surrended to the Royal Navy in 1918. After several were stranded in 1921 the submarines were broken up in situ.
