Lucas Collection K920010
WALMER CASTLE, Kent. Items from the Lucas Collection of Wellington memorabilia. The collection includes a range of artefacts illustrating the enduring popularity of the Iron Duke throughout his lifetime, and were collected by Wing-Commander Thomas Hill Lucas (1895-1975). They were donated to the Castle in 1966. Here shown are a bronze bust, an ivory bust, a Wedgwood ceramic plaque and a Steven Green Lambeth Ware jug
