WHITE CONDUIT STREET, Islington, London. A line of children hold hands as they walk along the middle of White Conduit Street towards the junction with Chapel Market in Islington. Much of the street was demolished in the late 20th century to make way for Tolpuddle Street and a car park. Photographed by John Gay c.1950's-1960's.

A line of boy scouts and their scout master standing on a road in Holmbury St Mary, Surrey. The scouts are carrying scout staffs and bedrolls for a camping or pioneering trip. Photographed by Katherine J. Macfee, 23rd May 1912. This photograph was taken 5 years after Robert Baden-Powell, the founder of the Boy Scouts Association, held the first scout camp on Brownsea Island. This group are likely to have been from the Dorking District Scouts who formed in 1908.

A goat-drawn carriage for children, somewhere in London. We don't know why, when or where the photograph was taken, nor the identities of the man and little girl. The only information we have is the name and address of Edward Willman, a watch and clock maker from Dulwich, on the roof of the carriage. J J Samuels Limited 1900-1920.
