THE HAGUE, NETHERLANDS. Soldiers from the Dutch army mobilising in Den Haag (The Hague), just 4 days after the start of the First World War.
The photographer was on holiday in Holland at the outbreak of the First World War and this photograph was taken just 4 days later. The Netherlands remained neutral but in order to prevent invasion they mobilised their army on 1st August 1914, transporting soldiers to the borders of the country

10x8 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexi glass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
