Old Putney Bridge, Putney, Wandsworth, Greater London. The north end of the old Putney Bridge with the toll house on its right and the barge Rochester in the foreground, seen from the north bank of the River Thames.
The note on the negative sleeve reads Old Putney Bridge, Toll House & Barge, new negative of F213'. The negative shows the old wooden bridge which was also known as Fulham Bridge, built in 1729 and badly damaged by a barge in 1870. A stone replacement was built between 1882-1886
