Weoley Castle 21103_07
Weoley Castle, Birmingham, West Midlands. A licence to crenellate was granted to Roger de Somery in 1264 and a roughly rectangular moated site was built. The remains now lie in a suburb of Birmingham. Photographed in December 2000
