ADMIRALTY ARCH, THE MALL, CITY OF WESTMINSTER, GREATER LONDON. Admiralty Arch decorated for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, viewed from the south-west.
The coronation of Elizabeth II took place on 2nd June 1953. Admiralty Arch was decorated with designs including the royal cypher between two stylised anchors; the arch was floodlit at night. The Mall was decorated with Coronation Arches designed by Eric Bedford, and lines of standards with golden crowns and scarlet banners

Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
