Shoreham Cement Works, Upper Beeding, West Sussex, 9 August 1950. John Laing plc, silver gelatin DOP (developing out paper) print. Shoreham Cement Works, established in the 19th century, was completely rebuilt between 1948 and 1950 by John Laing who also documented the work. Workmen are shown constructing conical preliminary mixers for the new works, fixing shuttering to the nearest mixer and steelwork to the one in the background. The works closed in 1991 and the future of the site remains uncertain

10x8 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexi glass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
Ready to Hang Contemporary Framed and Mounted Prints. To ensure the paper is held securely the visible picture may be marginally smaller than quoted.
