Borough General Hospital, Tremona Road, Shirley Warren, City of Southampton. Nurses posed by a van of the mobile infant welfare unit at Borough General Hospital.
In January 1942 the mobile infant welfare unit was presented to the Ministry of Health by Boots, who also maintained and staffed the unit. It was allocated to Southampton and Portsmouth and could travel to areas where air raids and bombing had disrupted regular child welfare services

10x8 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexi glass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
