Portrait of eight men in club kit posed for the camera with their penny farthing bicycles, around 1890. The photograph may show members of the Putney Cycling Club. Penny farthing bicycles were in use from 1870, and were also known as the Ordinary or High Wheeler. The penny farthings shown in this image have different wheel sizes - the largest manufactured penny farthing had a wheel diameter of 60 inches (Michael Hutchinson, Re: Cyclists 200 Years on Two Wheels)

10x8 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexi glass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
Ready to Hang Contemporary Framed and Mounted Prints. To ensure the paper is held securely the visible picture may be marginally smaller than quoted.
