Horse drawn milk float a98_16568
BURY ST EDMUNDS, Suffolk. Some commodities were still delivered using a horse and cart in the post-war years. Coal and milk were two products that used this method of delivery until relatively recently. Even in major towns it was not unusual to see a horse-drawn Rag and Bone mans wagon in the 1960s and 70s.
