Roker Park Football Ground, Sunderland. The Main Stand and Fulwell End at Roker Park football ground, seen from the east, Roker End stand during a football game.
Roker Park was opened in 1898 for Sunderland Association Football Club, and originally had wooden stands. Archibald Leitch designed the Main Stand (1929) and the Clock Stand (1936). The stadium was demolished in 1997-1998 and the site was redeveloped for housing
