Springfield Brewery, Cambridge Street, Wolverhampton. General view of Springfield Brewery looking across the yard from the smithy. The Springfield Brewery was built in 1873 for William Butler. The Bedford Lemere daybook lists the architect as R Sinclair, for whom the image was taken. The brewery closed in 1991 and was partially destroyed by fire in 2004
