KING'S COLLEGE CHAPEL, Cambridge, Interior view. The organ is dominant, standing on the screen which divides the chapel and ante-chapel. It was built in 1605, and the case was made by Chapman and Hartop. It has since been enlarged. The rib vaulting of the chapel ceiling is also visible. Photographed by Eric de Mare. ST BRIDES CHURCH, Fleet Street, London. Interior view. St Bride's was rebuilt in 1671-8 to the designs of Sir Christopher Wren following the Great Fire of London. This photograph of the interior was taken before it was destroyed during the Blitz of 1940. It was subsequently rebuilt. Photographed bys O Gorse c.1920-1940

Southwell Minster, Nottinghamshire. The west front of St Mary the Virgin Minster as seen from the gateway. The minster was established by Archbishop Oskytel of York in 956 AD but the present building dates from circa 1120. The church was granted cathedral status in 1884.
