SOMERSET HOUSE, HALIFAX, CALDERDALE. A detailed view of a plaster panel in Somerset House, illustrating Aesops Fable, the Fox and the Stork. Somerset House originally consisted of a town house and two warehouses, which have since been used as a bank, commercial, residential and local authority residencies. The house dates to 1766 and the warehouses to c1780, and all have undergone 19th and 20th century alterations. The buildings form three sides around a forecourt in the south. The interior of the house has plasterwork by Guiseppe Cortese, including panels illustrating scenes from Aesops Fables

10x8 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexi glass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
