Laing Sports Ground, Rowley Lane, Elstree, Barnet, Greater London. Mr and Mrs Stanborough and friends posed behind a table laid with cakes during a surprise party for their diamond wedding anniversary.
A surprise diamond wedding party was held for Mrs E and Mr F Stanborough at the Laing Sports Club at Elstree. Mr Stanborough had joined Laing as a carpenter in 1934. After his service during the war, he returned to become a general foreman and site agent on various sites. He retired in 1970 with 36 years service. An article on their diamond wedding celebrations was published in the August 1987 issue of Laings Team Spirit newsletter

10x8 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexi glass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
