Railway bridge JLP01_01_142_21
M1 Motorway, Structure 112 Railway Bridge, M1, Barby, Daventry, Northamptonshire. A view showing the deck of Structure 112 in position, a railway bridge over the London to Yorkshire Motorway (the M1), as a Ruston Bucyrus machine hoists ballast in the foreground.
The deck of Structure 112 was constructed next to the site of the bridge and then rolled into position. Structure 112 lies on the M45; a road that spurs off the M1 at Junction 17 and runs to Thurlaston near Dunchurch. This extension was built as part of the London to Yorkshire Motorway and opened at the same time
