Exeter, Devon. A perspective view of the Georgian facade of 27-32 Southernhay West in 1942. Bomb damage. The rest of the terrace has been destroyed as part of the Baedecker raids. Exeter and a number of other cities were targeted by Hitler in revenge for Air Marshal Harris bombing campaign against German cities. Photographed by Margaret Tomlinson in May 1942
