HENLEY-ON-THAMES, Oxfordshire. A view of the River Thames showing the Regatta course, with the temple on Temple Island in the distance. Built in 1771 to a design by James Wyatt, the temple was originally a fishing lodge for Fawley Court nearby. Photographed by Henry Taunt in 1900
