BLAISE CASTLE, Henbury, Bristol. This folly castle was built by Thomas Farr in 1766 on the top of Castle Hill. It was originally used as a summer house by the Harford family who owned the estate. The castle stands inside an Iron Age hillfort. Photographed by Eric de Mare. Date range: 1945 - 1980
